Todays birding highlights on a wet and windy day in Cornwall include:
Drift - *CATTLE EGRET* (19) still in fields at Treganhoe Farm. ICELAND GULL (juv)
Hayle Estuary - GLAUCOUS GULL (juv) at 1530hrs. Also ICELAND GULL (juv) and Med Gull (ad, 3×2w and 1w)
Wadebridge - SPOONBILL (ad) again at Dinham Flats viewed from Camel Trail this morning
Newlyn - ICELAND GULL (juv) still in Harbour. Also BN Grebe still.
Marazion - ICELAND GULL (juv) on beach this morning. Also Water Pipit again at Red River mouth
Helston - Yellow-browed Warbler still at Lower Nansloe Farm.
Tamar Birdwatching Cruise - SPOONBILL (ad and 1w), Avocet (5+), Spotted Redshank, Red-breasted Merganser from cruise today (Thanks B.Taggart and R.Menari)
