Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
St Austell - *WESTERN SUBALPINE WARBLER* singing again at Gorran Haven in scrub above coastal path south of village, tho mobile. (Thanks D.Payne)
Nanjizal - *WESTERN SUBALPINE WARBLER* at seaward end of valley in buckthorn by Faraway Cottage tho elusive. Also *EUROPEAN BEE-EATER* (11+) flew east at 11.10hrs.
The Lizard - *EUROPEAN BEE-EATER*(3) flew in off sea at Predannack head at 11.15hrs then flew towards Mullion. Woodchat Shrike at Kynance Cove on fence between Kynance Farn and Predannack Airfield at 10.00hrs.
Lands End - Icterine Warbler in willows at south end of car park, tho elusive. *EUROPEAN BEE-EATER* (2) flew south at 13.05hrs.
Porthgwarra - *EUROPEAN BEE-EATER* (4) in afternoon (possibly Polgigga Birds?)
Polgigga - *EUROPEAN BEE-EATER* (3) at Bosistow Lane area tho mobile (possibly Porthgwarra Birds?)
Helston - Woodchat Shrike (male) still at south end of Loe Pool between Pool and Tye Rocks SW.637.247.
Marazion - Hobby over RSPB Marazion Marsh.
Wadebridge - Wood Sandpiper (2) and Whimbrel (50+) at Dinham Flats.
Stithians - Cuckoo reported at Reservoir today (Thanks T.Chipman)
