Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Sancreed*CATTLE EGRET* (3) in cattle field at Sellan Farm this morning. Iceland Gull (juv) over Drift Reservoir and PF Goose (2) still.(Thanks D.Flumm)

St Ives**SNOWY OWL** again on moor south of Zennor at Sperris Quoit. (Thanks A.Nicholson) *CATTLE EGRET* (2) in cattle field at Halsetown at junction with Old Coach Road and B3311.

Newquay*CATTLE EGRET* (2) at Gannel Estuary in Pines behind California Hotel at dusk.

Helston RING-BILLED GULL (2) still on boating lake and showing well. Long-tailed Duck still on Loe Pool. Also Yellow-browed Warbler, Firecrest (3) and ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff (3+) at sewage works.

FalmouthROUGH-LEGGED BUZZARD reportedly for 5th day (no further details)

Roseland Sandwich Tern at St Just in Roseland at 11.00hrs (Thanks D.Lander)

WadebridgeBittern seen at Amble Marshes. Emerged briefly from marsh, flying a short distance before going down into marsh again. (Thanks R.Flage)

Hayle Yellow-browed Warbler still in gardens at Saltings Reach, Lelant.

Penzance – BN Grebe still in Sandy Cove, Newlyn and Swallow at Heliport

Stithians – Goosander (4) on reservoir this morning
