Todays birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Helston*LESSER SCAUP* (fem) still at Loe Pool. Also Greater Scaup (2) and Firecrest (2) (Thanks H.Cook) RING-BILLED GULL still on boating lake (Thanks J.Rance)

Marazion Swallow (1), PB Brent Goose (5) and Common Scoter (41) offshore (Thanks H.Cook and J.Ray)

LooePB Brent Goose (10) at Hannafore Point this morning

Penzance Yellow-legged Gull on rocks off Tolcarne Beach this morning. Also Purple Sandpiper (8) on rocks by Jubilee Pool and Swallow (6) still at Heliport.

DriftScaup (3) and Pink-footed Goose (2) on reservoir today

NewquayFirecrest (2) and Willow Warbler at Porth Joke this morning.

CanonstownNo sign of any Woodlark in field south of A30, but Brambling and Siskin over (Thanks H.Cook and J.Ray)

Ruan Lanihorne Brambling (Male and female) in private garden this morning (Thanks D.Hall)
