Cornwall Birding

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Tehidy CP - **HUME’S LEAF WARBLER**again in scrub at back of cafe and around first pond.

St Austell -PACIFIC DIVER again off Porthpean. Also Bonxie (2) and Sandwich Tern (3)

Drift  - *CATTLE EGRET* (10) still in cattle fields at Treganhoe Farm. Also ICELAND GULL again on reservoir.

Hayle - *CATTLE EGRET* (2) in field with cattle west of Ryans Field then flew west at c15.30hrs. Also Little Egret. (P.Freestone et al)

Newlyn - ICELAND GULL (2 juvs) still in harbour tho mobile. Also BT Diver and Sandwich Tern in Sandy Cove

St Just - ICELAND GULL (juv) in field by B3306 between Kelynack and Nanquidno turning.

Nanjizal - SHORELARK flew north over Nanjizal Valley at 13.45hrs.

Penlee Point - Puffin (2), Bonxie, Manx Sh’water (300+) and GN Diver past 13.00 - 15.00hrs.

Porthgwarra - Puffin (6) past Gwennap Head. Also Black Redstart at Roskestal Farm.
