Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Porthcurno*EUROPEAN BEE-EATER* NE of Porthcurno on wires along the B3315  just before Sparnon at 14.00hrs. SW.400.241 probably same bird seen at St Buryan (Thanks C.Benton)

Sennen SHORT-TOED LARK still at east end of Treeve Common, tho elusive. Also Whinchat and Common Crossbill over.

Torpoint NIGHTINGALE still singing in scrub opposite entrance to Tregantle Fort.

Cot ValleyCommon Crossbill in pines along Bosorne Road this afternoon.

Hayle Estuary Sandwich Terns (18),  Black tailed godwit (1), Bar tailed godwit (5) on main estuary (Thanks P.Jeggo)

Nanjizal Hobby over this morning.
