Todays birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Helston – RED-BACKED SHRIKE (juv) still at The Loe, in bracken at east end of Carminow Creek this morning.
Camelford - BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER (2) again at Davidstow Airfield at 09.15hrs. Still present at 19.00hrs (Thanks N.Moore)

Lands End – HONEY BUZZARD flew towards Porthgwarra at 1700hrs
Porthgwarra - WRYNECK between 60ft Cover and Stone wall. Also Pied Flycatcher and Firecrest
Nanquidno - Possible Marsh Warbler at seward end of valley in blackthorn by rocky outcrop just beyond Mill House viewable from 5-bar gate this morning. WRYNECK at seaward end of valley this afternoon. Also Redstart.
Stithians – Wood Sandpiper on main reservoir at 14.00hrs and Marsh Tit on feeder. (Thanks S.Taylor)
Sennen – Grey Phalarope (6) on sea north of Cowloe this morning.







A great set of pics from todays birding in Cornwall.
The highlight for me is the occurence of Marsh Tits at Stithians which were until S.Taylor put up the feeder recently, unrecorded at the reservoir as far as I know. Just hope stiths hasn’t knicked the ones from College Reservoir or we could have a feeding station war on our hands!
