Gillan – GLOSSY IBIS still in Gillan Creek

HelstonRed Kite flew over Ashton at 1450hrs being mobbed by a Herring Gull (Thanks P.Lewis)

St IvesRing Ouzel (6. 2f + 4m) still at Buttermilk Hill but no sign this evening. Also Cuckoo, Wheatear (12), Buzzard (4), Raven (2), Linnet (14 pairs) and Meadow Pipit (9 pairs). Ring Ouzel (2. m+f) at Beagletodn. Whitethroat and Buzzard (12) at Trendrine Hill/Holmans Moors. Cuckoo, Grasshopper Warbler, Wheatear (6), Common Buzzard (5) at Zennor Hill/Eagles Nest. Buzzard (5) flew over St Ives harbour and out over bay

LooeEider (drk) still off Hannafore Point. Whitethroat, Wheatear (5) and Whimbrel (2) also (Thanks M.Hughes)

Marazion - Great Northern Diver (2) offshore

Newquay - Lesser Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler (3), Whitethroat (3), Wheatear (6), Willow Warbler (2) and Blackcap (4) at Porth Joke (cbwps)
