Saturday 17th November 2007 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Marazion *PENDULINE TIT* (1st w) on east side along footpath by 1st house at 14.40hrs. (8th record for Cornwall)Plus Siberian Chiffchaff and YB Warbler still.

Hayle Estuary Green-winged Teal (drk) still, Brent Goose in Ryans Field at 13.30hrs.

St Gothian Sands NR Water Pipit still at east end of main pool tho elusive. Little Gull (1st w) this afternoon.

Penzance YB Warbler at Boscathnoe Reservoir along causeway between lakes

St LevenYB Warbler at church in scrub opposite gate with childs swing plus Desert Lesser Whitethroat in scrub left of area where YB Warbler is. (thanks J. Voaden)

Lands End**AMERICAN BUFF-BELLIED PIPIT** again at 16.00hrs at Trevilley Farm. (thanks J.Voaden)

Reskajeage DownLapland Bunting (2) in stubble field north of B3301

St AustellGN Diver (8+), BT Diver (2+) off Porthpean in St Austell Bay.
