Pectoral Sandpiper at Stithians reservoir

Pectoral Sandpiper at Stithians Reservoir. It has been seen on and off since Tuesday 21st usually around the shoreline near the Watersports centre but can be mobile in the northern end of the reservoir. Images and info kindly supplied by Matt Sallis. More of Matt’s Image can be seen here

Also, “This is a quick note to all birdwatchers visiting the reserve at Stithians, could you all view either from the road or from the excellent hides. There has been a couple of incidents recently of birders walking around in front of the hides flushing birds. Thanks in advance for your co-operation.” – D.Julian, CBWPS Chairman
