The weekends birding highlights in Cornwall include:

St Ives**SNOWY OWL** still SE of Zennor on Sperris Quoit, also Hen Harrier (male) and Peregrine on 21st. Glaucous Gull (2nd yr) at Gurnards Head on 21st. (Thanks J.Wilczur). Velvet Scoter (2) flew past Zennor.  DO NOT PARK AT EAGLES NEST HOUSE FOR SNOWY OWL, USE LAYBYS EAST OF EAGLES NEST.

Drift*CATTLE EGRET* (2) at Drift Reservoir. Also Goosander (3 fem) and Pink-footed Goose (2) (Thanks T.Hasdell)

Newquay*CATTLE EGRET* (2) at Gannel Estuary off car park on evening of 22nd.

Landrake*CATTLE EGRET* (2) in field near Haylake Farm briefly mid-afternoon on 20th.

HelstonRING-BILLED GULL (1st yr) still at Boating Lake on morning of 21st.

SaltashSpoonbill (2) at Kingsmill Lake during WEBS Count on 22nd. Also Avocet, Greenshank (9) and Black-tailed Godwit (15) (Thanks R.McCarthy)

NewlynGlaucous Gull (1st yr) and Iceland Gull (1st yr) still in Harbour over weekend. (Thanks M.Halliday)

ParIceland Gull (1st yr) on Par Beach Pool on morning of 22nd (Thanks J.Rance)

FoweyHawfinch in Fowey Valley on 21st (Thanks N.Climpson)

Gerrans BayLong-tailed Duck, BT Diver (2), GN Diver (5) and Slav Grebe (2) in southern half of Bay on 21st (Thanks D.Jenkins)

HelfordLittle Gull on Helford Passage on 22nd.

GwithianPintail (drk) (PHOTO) and Scaup (3) still at St Gothian Sands NR on 21st (Thanks S.Williams)

MarazionWater Pipit again on Marazion Marsh RSPB reserve. Also Firecrest still.

TorpointSnow Bunting at Penlee Point on 21st.
