Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Hayle Estuary - SPOONBILL (2w) still all day, Blk-tailed Godwit (2), Bar-tailed Godwit (8), Knot (1), Little Egret (15), Kingfisher (2), Sandwich Tern (9), Pintail (3 eclipse drk) Common Tern (1). (M.Halliday et al) GREAT WHITE EGRET (2) reported flying over early morning. No other information or further sightings.
Spoonbill and Common Tern at Hayle Estuary (photos J.H.Johns)
Marazion - Spotted Crake still from stone pillar along red river track. Jack Snipe (1).
St Leven - Richards Pipit flew over NE late morning.
Polgigga - Turtle Dove reported. No further details.
Cot Valley - YB Warbler reported again this morning.
Pendeen - RB Shrike (juv) still west of road to Pendeen Lighthouse by coastal path and showing well.
Nanajizal - Wryneck still by Nanjizal House this morning.
Tresillian - Spotted Redshank (2), Water Rail (1), Common Sandpiper (1) (thanks M.Jones)
