Wryneck, Pendeen (J.St Ledger)

Pendeen*DAURIAN SHRIKE* (ad male) still at Pendeen Watch 400 yards south of lighthouse, just west of road to Enys Cottages. WRYNECK (2) in gorse opposite cottages. WRYNECK 100 yards along coast path south of Enys Cottages. Also Ring Ouzel. Snow Bunting still just above fishermans cottages at Boat Cove. Park carefully. ELEONORA’S FALCON (ad dark morph) reported flew east over Pendeen at 1815hrs (Thanks J.St Ledger et al)

Polzeath – unconfirmed report of probable *BUFF-BELLIED PIPIT* at Rumps Point at 1015hrs

St Levan**WESTERN BONELLI’S WARBLER** north of church in willows along stream at 1400hrs. Access on footpath on east side of stream. Yellow-browed Warbler (1+) in trees near church at 1137hrs

Hayle - *LESSER YELLOWLEGS* (juv) on Ryans Field at high tide. no sign of Black-winged Stilt on Hayle Estuary RSPB but Osprey, showing well. Little Stint (3) on estuary. Also Ruff (2), Black-tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit (8) and Med Gull on Ryan’s Field (P.Freestone)

St Just - RICHARD’S PIPIT in fields south of Cot Valley at 1040hrs tho mobile. Yellow-browed Warbler near airfield at higher Numphra. Yellow-browed Warbler at Kenidjack Valley in sycamores by sewage works. Pied Flycatcher in Kenidjack Valley at 1600hrs

FalmouthEider (3) still in Carrick Roads near St Mawes, Meadow Pipit (10+), Swallow, Chiffchaff (2) and Stonechat (male) near Pendennis Point. Peregrine on crane at docks. Ringed Plover at Castle Beach, Sandwich Tern (2) over towards Swanpool. (Thanks D.Chaney)

Saltash - Spotted Redshank (2), Redshank (135), Greenshank (20), Curlew (94), Black-tailed Godwit (26) and Bar-tailed Godwit at Kingsmill Creek this evening.(Thanks S.Cox)
