Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

St Ives**SNOWY OWL** (juv) still on moors SW of St Ives, south of B3306 at Sperris Quoit on moor at Trig Point.

Polgigga*CATTLE EGRET* following plough in field SE of Lower Bosistow Farm this morning (Thanks K.Wilson)

HelstonRING-BILLED GULL (2x1w) still at Helston Boating Lake. Long-tailed Duck again at Loe Pool (Thanks D.Jenkins). Yellow-browed Warbler, ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff (2) and Firecrest at sewage works.

Hayle Yellow-browed Warbler in garden at Saltings Reach, Lelant this morning (Thanks M.Halliday)

MarazionWater Pipit still on beach at Red River mouth. Swallow (3) over Marazion Marsh RSPB and Firecrest.

FeockVelvet Scoter (2) still off Loe Beach, Feock in the Carrick Roads at midday (Thanks T.Twiggs)

PenzanceIceland Gull (juv) at roost on St Clements Isle late afternoon. Slav. Grebe still in Sandy Cove, Newlyn. Purple Sandpiper (20+) on rocks at Jubilee Pool.

Wadebridge Whooper Swan at Walmsley Sanctuary NR.
