Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Drift - *CATTLE EGRET* (10+) in fields at Treganhoe Farm today.
Penzance - *CATTLE EGRET*(14+) in fields at Boscreege Farm nr New Mill today.
Hayle Estuary - RING-BILLED GULL (1s) at Copperhouse Creek this afternoon. Wood Sandpiper and Ruff on Ryan’s Field.
Sennen - WOODCHAT SHRIKE again on wires near Trinity Cottage, also Short-eared Owl over Treeve Moor.
Helston - WOODCHAT SHRIKE still west of Loe Pool this afternoon. (See 27th April Bird Reports for details)
Porthgwarra - Wood Warbler in trees by Trevean Pool this afternoon
Wadebridge - Wood Sandpiper at Walmsley Sanctuary this morning
Porthcurno - Pied Flycatcher (fem) in turning circle by St Levan churchyard.
Men-an-tol - Cuckoo and Willow Warbler today (Thanks K.Glasier)
Rame - Lesser Whitethroat on coastal path at Penlee (Thanks C.Buckland)
Bodmin Moor - Cuckoo, Wheatear (2) and Sedge Warbler today at Siblyback Reservoir (Thanks J.Batey)
