Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Polgigga - **BLYTH’S PIPIT** flew west over Polgigga at 14.15hrs and may have landed in fields at Trebehor.
Helston - CATTLE EGRET (4) between Helston and Porthleven by B3304 at Penventon Farm mid afternoon
St Ives - CATTLE EGRET (6) in cattle field west of Halsetown opposite riding stables on B3311 plus two birds in field opposite Balnoon Inn at north end of Old Coach Road. (latter two later joined the six in the original field.
Lelant - CATTLE EGRET (1) over Lelant Saltings flew West towards Tempest Company at midday (thanks M.Haliday)
Drift/Sancreed - CATTLE EGRET (9) today in fields at Treganhoe Farm
Penzance - Woodlark (2) flew over Ludgvan and appeared to land in fields off Blowing House Lane
Hayle Estuary - GW TEAL (drk) still in main channel plus Avocet and DB Brent Goose (2)
Cot Valley - Yellow-browed Warbler still in trees by Daisy Cottage
