Todays BIrding highlights in Cornwall include:

HelstonRED-BACKED SHRIKE (juv) still present at head of Carminowe Creek at 15.30 pm today (Thanks D.Jenkins)

The Lizard ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) still at Lizard around building site at 1130hrs.

Lands EndYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in garden of Swingates house today. Also ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) still, tho mobile and Hobby (juv) over.

Sennen WRYNECK at Mayon Cliff at 15.30hrs.

WadebridgeGarganey (fem) at Walmsley Sanctuary today, also Little Stint.

Truro  Water Rail (1) at Tresemple Pool, Tresillian. (Thanks M.Jones)

Hayle Estuary Pink footed Goose still and Pale-bellied Brent Goose (2). Also Common Sandpiper, Knot (4), Bar & Blk T Godwits, Dunlin & Ringed Plover and Gadwall (Thanks J.H.Johns)

Gwithian Little Stint (6), Dunlin (2), Ringed Plover, Yellow Wagtail (4) and Wheatear (3) at St Gothian Sands NR. (Thanks J.H.Johns)

FalmouthMed Gull (ad and 1w) at Swanpool at 1600hrs.

PenzanceBlack Redstart on rocks at Tolcarne. Also, Yellow Wagtail on prom (Thanks Burbage Birders)

St Ives - Leach’s Petrel and Common Scoter (Fem) past St Ives Island. (Thanks Burbage Birders)
