Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Tehidy Country Park - Possible **HUME’S WARBLER** reported. Previously reported as Yellow-browed Warbler around pond west of cafe.
Cot Valley - **HUME’S WARBLER** still at top end of valley near Daisy Cottage
Newquay - *CATTLE EGRET* (7) near Trennistick Farm in cattle field east of Crantock Plains Touring Park this morning
Stithians - *CATTLE EGRET* (1) in fields north of reservoir, viewed from Golden Lion Cutoff. Also, Med Gull (ad and 2w) and Goosander (2) but no sign of bittern.
Wadebridge - *CATTLE EGRET* (1) with Little Egret (3) at Dinham Flats early afternoon. Also Jack Snipe (2) at Walmsley Sanctuary.
Drift - *CATTLE EGRET* (7) still in fields at Treganhoe Farm
St Ives - GLAUCOUS GULL still in harbour area for most of day and showing well
Newlyn - ICELAND GULL (2) in harbour area. Also BN Grebe (2) still. Whimbrel reported near Mousehole
Sennen - ICELAND GULL (1) on Cowloe early afternoon
Siblyback Reservoir - Goosander (3) today (thanks J.Batey)
