Further details on Great White Egret 1 Oct. The bird was present on Ryan’s Field at 8.50am when we arrived and we watched it for about 15 minutes feeding in the flooded channels in the company of 2 Little Egrets. We later (about 10.00 am )watched it from the causeway feeding at the further side of the field. However, when we returned to the hide about 10.30 there was no sign and we had not seen it fly off. (i.d.100%)
