Todays birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Helston – RING-BILLED GULL (1w) still on boating lake. Long-tailed Duck (fem/1w) still on Loe Pool. Also Firecrest still at sewage works.
Newquay – ROSE-COLOURED STARLING still in rear garden of Penhallow Road. Take track at the side of number 27 to view gardens.
Marazion – Water Pipit (2) still on beach. Also PB Brent Goose (9),Â Swallow (4) and Black Redstart (2).
Seaton – Great northern Diver (2), Goldeneye (Fem) and Slavonian Grebe offshore (Thanks J.Mitchell and J.Cole)
Torpoint – Whimbrel (2), Red breasted Merganser (3) and Common Gull (3) at Millbrook. GN Diver, Med Gull and Brent Goose (6) at St Johns Lake (Thanks J.Mitchell and J.Cole)
Sancreed – Woodpigeon (4000+) over Sancreed this morning. Also Pink-footed Goose (2) at Drift Reservoir (Thanks D.Flumm)
