Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

The LizardWOODCHAT SHRIKE west of The Lizard at Caerthillian Cove. Follow track west from the village then follow footpath to bottom towards stream and turn left towards coast path for 200yrds.

Cot ValleyGOLDEN ORIOLE (male) singing in garden just east of Cot Manor this afternoon tho elusive.

TorpointNIGHTINGALE Singing male still present in scrub at Tregantle Fort at 1700hrs (Thanks R.Smaldon)

St JustHoopoe flew over Manor Farm at Botallock this morning.

Looe Red Kite over Trefanny Hill (5 miles North of Looe) at 08.30am (Thanks D.Bush) 

PorthgwarraRed Kite flew over at 09.30hrs. Merlin nearby west of Polgigga.

Hayle EstuaryMed Gull (1st sum), Black-tailed Godwit (1), Bar-tailed Godwit (8+), Whimbrel (9) and Dunlin (58) this morning. (P.Freestone)

PenzancePurple Sandpiper (18) on rocks at Jubilee Pool
