Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

PolgiggaBUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER still in field along track between Higher Bosistow and Ardensawah Farms. Also TAWNY PIPIT nearby in bulb field.

NanjizalMELODIOUS WARBLER at bottom end of valley this morning. Also CORNCRAKE flew from valley.

WadebridgePECTORAL SANDPIPER at Walmsley Sanctuary at 16.30hrs. Also Curlew Sandpiper (6), Wood sandpiper and Marsh Harrier (juv)

PorthgwarraMELODIOUS WARBLER still in 60ft Cover. Also Whinchat and Pied Flycatcher.

The LizardMELODIOUS WARBLER between A3083 and Cross Common in scrub triangle at 13.40hrs. WRYNECK at Church Cove and Pale-bellied Brent Goose (7) in cove at Coverack.

TruroSpotted Redshank (1), Common Sandpiper (3), Bar-tailed Godwit (4) at Tresemple Pool, Tresillian today (Thanks M.Jones)

Wadebridge - PECTORAL SANDPIPER at Dinham Flats this eveining. Also, Ruff (6), Bar-tailed Godwit (13), Black-tailed Godwit (8), Little Egret (33), Greenshank (13), Common Sandpiper and Med Gull (2x 1w). (Thanks D.Julian)

Ruan LanihorneOSPREY in dead tree at confluence with rivers Fal and Ruan. Also Little Egret (21) and Green Sandpiper (Thanks D.Hall)

MarazionDotterel flew East at 08.45hrs. Also Curlew Sandpiper (3) on beach.

Lands EndMARSH WARBLER reported in bracked south of car park. Also WRYNECK and Short-eared Owl along cycle track.

SennenYellow-legged Gull still on Cowloe and Med Gull (15)
