Monday 10th December 2007 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Drift/Sancreed*CATTLE EGRET*(2) still in field left of Treganhoe Farm entrance track this morning.

Crows-an-Wra*CATTLE EGRET* (2) SSW of Crows-an-wra at Rospannel this morning.

Siblyback Reservoir*CATTLE EGRET* (4) still at north end of reservoir (thanks R.Smaldon)

Marazion – *PACIFIC DIVER* (ad) again off Long Rock beach late afternoon with  GN Diver (6) and RT Diver.

St Austell – *PACIFIC DIVER* (ad) reported off Porthpean at 13.00hrs swam east into bay with BT Diver (10) and GN Diver (5)

Boscathnoe ReservoirYellow-browed Warbler (2) reported today around reservoirs.

HelstonYellow-browed Warbler (1) between Lower Nanslow Farm road and main track to bird hide, in trees on east side of stream between raod and causeway at 11.30hrs, plus Firecrest (4) along main track.

FalmouthMed Gull (2ads and 2w) flew upstream on Penryn River eraly morning. Plus Med Gull (ad) at Swanpool again

Wadebridge Pink-footed Goose (26) flew west over Walmsley Sanctuary at 10.20hrs.

Camel EstuaryMed Gull (2ads, 2w and 1w) at Dinham Flats this morning

St Ives Island – Seawatching between 08.20 – 10.20hrs produced Little Auk (3), Velvet Scoter (1), BT Diver (9) and RT Diver (2).

Hayle EstuaryGW Teal (drk) showing well from causeway bridge.

PenzanceHouse Martin reported at Penlee Park this afternoon
