MAKE BIRDS COUNT – A Bird Survey Training Day

The RSPB, Duchy College and British Trust for Ornithology invites you for a day’s training in bird survey techniques from experts. This free event is for anyone considering becoming a surveyor, wanting to find out more or for experienced surveyors to mentor beginners.

Come and get to grips with different techniques including the Breeding Bird Survey, the Bird Atlas and the RSPB’s Volunteer & Farmer Alliance. Presentations will show how data is used for bird monitoring and practical fieldwork will demonstrate the methods used.

Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, Callington, Cornwall From Plymouth by car take the A388 until the right turning to Stoke Climsland and the Duchy College is the second right before the village. From Exeter by car take the A30 to Launceston and then on to Tavistock Road for the A388 towards Callington taking a left for Stoke Climsland.
