Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Nanjizal YB WARBLER in valley this morning. Also Lapland Bunting over, Swallow (3) and possible ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff (2)

SennenHen Harrier in fields opposite post office mid-afternoon.

MarazionWater Pipit still on beach. Also Med Gull (ad)

Wadebridge – possible ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff at Treraven Meadows NR. Also Water Pipit, Common Sandpiper and Green Sandpiper still. Black Redstart on Glen Road.

Drift Scaup (1+) still on reservoir today.

Penzance Swallow (6) at heliport this morning, flying in and out of heliport hanger. (Thanks K.Barrett)

CrowdyGoosander at Crowdy Reservoir this morning.

Saltash – Great Northern Diver on River Tamar, also Common Sandpiper seen on River Lynher (Thanks A.Godfrey)

FalmouthFirecrest (3) at Swanpool along lane to Swanvale NR.
