Todays Birding highlights on a very wet and windy day in Cornwall include:

CATTLE EGRETS reported today from the following sites: between Boscastle and Trevalga by B3263 (1); St Ives, west of Halsetown (5). Gannel Estuary, roosting at Penpoll Creek (8); Drift at Treganhoe Farm (11)

Cot Valley*HUMES WARBLER* still this morning at top end of valley by Daisy Cottage and showing well.

Hayle Estuary GW TEAL still in main channel plus Med Gull (ad and 1st w)

Sennen CovePurple Sandpiper (22) east of Lifeboat station this morning (per Sennen Cove Birdwatching)
