Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

HUME’S LEAF WARBLERS were still at Cot Valley and Tehidy Country Park and CATTLE EGRETS were at Drift and Stithians. ICELAND GULLS were reported from Newlyn Harbour, Drift Reservoir and Hayle Estuary. The RICHARD’S PIPIT was still at Trematon, Saltash but negative news on the Yellow Wagtail. The Water Pipit was still at Gwithian. Elsewhere;

Sennen Cove – possible *AMERICAN HERRING GULL* (1w) on beach early afternoon then flew to Cowloe.

Stithians - RING-NECKED DUCK still on southern cut-off at 14.00hrs (thanks D.Jenkins)
