St Levan - ***SCARLET TANAGER*** (1w.male) again 1ml SSE of Polgigga at St Levan, in elms left of footpath in valley in copse left of the small stone bridge. Plenty of parking at church car park (£2). Alternatively, only a ten minute coastal walk from Porthgwarra. MAP HERE. Seen in flight very briefly at 1140hrs, flew from Blackthorn on south side of valley to left hand side of Grey Gables. no sign by dusk. Very elusive. Firecrest in valley.
St Just – RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER in Kenidjack Valley showing well. WRYNECK in flight near chimney on south side of Kenidjack at 1730hrs. Also Yellow-browed Warbler (2+) and Firecrest (1+). Yellow-browed Warbler in Cot Valley still. Firecrest (2) in garden of Silverley Cottage, Kelynack this evening (Thanks N.Truby)
