Friday 19th October 2007 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Lands EndBarred Warbler west of Swingates House tho mobile. Ring Ouzel (2) along cycle track.

Marazion Hoopoe reported flew east over sanctuary area. Jack Snipe (1). Long-eared Owl intop of conifers along track to hide.

Sennen CoveYellow-legged Gull (2) on Cowloe off Lifeboat Station. Probable CASPIAN GULL (2w) still on Cowloe late morning.

Camel EstuaryBar-tailed Godwit (6) (Thanks C.Yates)

Connor DownsBrambling (4) flew east, Fieldfare (100+) large numbers of Chaffinch flying east (thanks A.Hutt)

The LizardPALLAS’S WARBLER in church Cove near church and RB Flycatcher.
