Friday 19th October 2007 - Cornwall Bird Reports
Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Lands End - Barred Warbler west of Swingates House tho mobile. Ring Ouzel (2) along cycle track.
Marazion - Hoopoe reported flew east over sanctuary area. Jack Snipe (1). Long-eared Owl intop of conifers along track to hide.
Sennen Cove - Yellow-legged Gull (2) on Cowloe off Lifeboat Station. Probable CASPIAN GULL (2w) still on Cowloe late morning.
Camel Estuary - Bar-tailed Godwit (6) (Thanks C.Yates)
Connor Downs - Brambling (4) flew east, Fieldfare (100+) large numbers of Chaffinch flying east (thanks A.Hutt)
The Lizard - PALLAS’S WARBLER in church Cove near church and RB Flycatcher.
Rame Head - Fieldfare, Ring Ouzel, Mistle Thrush (2), Garden Warbler, Chiffchaff (thanks C.Buckland)
