Friday 16th November 2007 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

MarazionYB Warbler again along track to Kingfisher Hide. Little Gull flew past.

St Leven – No sign of Desert Lesser Whitethroat but YB Warbler again in trees west of church west of turning circle.

Sennen **BLYTH’S PIPIT** flew NE over Sennen at 10.40hrs and may have landed in Vellandreath Valley and is being looked for. 

Stithians Reservoir Whooper Swan (ad) this morning but no sign again of Smew.

Lands EndHouse Martin (3) and Chough (2) this morning. Dartford Warbler in scrub west of Swingates House.

Porthgwarra Snow Bunting over this morning plus Merlin and Woodcock (3)

Dinham FlatsBewick’s Swan this morning flew towards Padstow, plus Brent Goose and Med Gull (3ads and 2 2w.)

Helston Long-tailed Duck still on Loe Pool this afternoon, plus Goosander (2)

Hayle EstuaryGreen-winged Teal (drk) still in main channel from Causeway today.
