Spotted Sandpiper - Hayle Est, April 2007.
Another shot of this long staying american wader on the Hayle Estuary. This was the last photo taken of it before its departure at the beginning of May 2007. Shame it left as it was moulting into some fantastic summer plumage. It was probably this bird that was subsequently seen in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. (Photo:Mark Halliday)
