Goodwill Raises Wildlife Garden Funds

The Blyth’s Pipit on Tresco could have proved a little harder to see today had it not been for the goodwill of the Staff and Children at Tresco and Bryher Primary School. They agreed to have playtime elsewhere so that the Pipit wasn’t flushed. A small donation was asked from birders wishing to see the bird, with the funds going towards a Nature Garden for the School. A total of £23o was donated which should go a long way to enhancing the garden and ultimately the childrens wildlife knowledge. A big thanks to all those who donated and to the children and staff at the school for their co-operation. Hope the bird is still there on Saturday!
