RBA have just reported that a (another or the same bird as released in Somerset?) juv Yellow-nosed Albatross was present for two days (3-4thJuly)on Manor Farm fishing lakes, Manton in Lincs. It was photographed by fishermen and NOT seen by any birders! Could this percievably be the Somerset bird? Did it fly up the river severn and meet up with the Trent? If so how did it not get seen? The bird seen recently in Sweden was seen to fly inland, it appears this one may have done the same. Keep your eyes peeled and lets hope it heads our way.
