Wednesday 17th September 2008 – Isles of Scilly Bird Reports
Today Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:
St Agnes - *BOOTED WARBLER* in gorse between Little Pool and Big Pool at 1930hrs.
St Mary’s – *CITRINE WAGTAIL* still on beach at Porthloo at 11.30hrs. BUFF-BELLIED SANDPIPER on airfield by windsock. ORTOLAN BUNTING flew over airport and landed by windsock. Possible ICTERINE WARBLER in trees by footpath at bottom end of Holy Vale at 1734hrs. WRYNECKs at Porthellick House, Porth Minnick and Peninnis Head and OSPREY over Star Castle Hotel towards Gugh at 1725hrs.
