Todays birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Mary’s**SOCIABLE PLOVER** still on east side of Telegraph Road in field at junction with Porthloo Lane. Hawfinch at Jac-a-bar feeding station this morning. Jack Snipe on Porth Hellick Pool and two on Lower Moors. HUDSONIAN WHIMBREL and Whimbrel (2) at Bar Point. Yellow-browed Warblers at Newford Duckpond (2), Porth Hellick Loop, Higher Moors, Watermill and Peninnis Head (2)

TrescoPectoral Sandpiper at NW end of Great Pool at Also Garganey. Red-backed Shrike at Old Grimsby in field opposite Sandy Lane Cottage. Also Yellow-browed Warbler (3).

St Agnes **BLACKPOLL WARBLER** still on Barnaby Lane late afternoon. Yellow-browed Warbler by Post Office.

St MartinsWHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER still on south side near Lower Town on The Flats, also Little Stint and Golden Plover (4).
