Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Mary’s*RED-FLANKED BLUETAIL* (First record for Scilly) fem/1st W. in field by track between salakee and Porth Hellick, tho elusive. Hawfinch (4) in hawthorn at Holy vale and possible ‘Sibe’ Chiffchaff. Little Bunting again at Carn Friars at 12.30hrs.

St Agnes **BOBOLINK** on Castella Downs at 15.26 then flew towards Troy Town and not relocated befor dusk. **GREY-CHEEKED THRUSH** still between Coastguard Cottages and Troy Town this afternoon. *BLYTH’S REED WARBLER* again in Chapel Fields this afternoon. *OLIVE-BACKED PIPIT* in field below Smugglers Cottage and showing well. Water Pipit at north end at Porth Killier Beach. RB FLYCATCHER still in Parsonage this morning.

Tresco *WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER* (2) at west end of south beach. RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER again by David hunt Hide at great pool.

St Martin’s Richards Pipit at SE end of Lawrences Bay at 1700hrs tho elusive.
