Tuesday 16th October 2007 – Scilly Bird Reports

New Birds on the Isles of Scilly today include:

Tresco BLYTH’S PIPIT at Old Grimsby on playing field by community centre. Crake sp. at Great Pool from Swarovski Hide late afternoon.

St Mary’s PENDULINE TIT at Lower Moors between pool and Dump clump at 15.25hrs tho elusive. Little Bunting (2) one bird in bare field by incinerator; one on Peninnis Head. Short toed Lark still on Airfild.

St AgnesQuail on Gugh flushed twice at south end this evening.

Birds present again today include GC Thrush, Blackpoll Warbler, Wilson’s Snipe and plenty of YB Warblers
