Thursday 1st May 2008 – Isles of Scilly Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Mary’s – *LESSER YELLOWLEGS* still this morning on Lower Moors from ISBG Hide and showing well. *WESTERN SUBALPINE WARBLER* along track to Green Farm at 15.00hrs.

St Martin’s – *EUROPEAN BEE-EATER* (3) at west side of Middle Town at 12.25hrs then over Little Arthur Farm at 15.30hrs.

St Agnes – *PALLID SWIFT* again at Coastguards at midday. Presumably the same three European Bee-eaters reported from St Martin’s were seen this morning at Horse Point.

Bryher - WOODCHAT SHRIKE fem still west of campsite late afternoon.
