St Gothian Sands NR – Bird Gallery

St Gothian Sands Nature Reserve at Gwithian has really come into its own this Spring it seems, with a string of good migrants including Night Heron and Tawny Pipit in the last week. The new fenced off areas are keeping the dogs at bay and Sand Martin’s have been having a good look at the specially created sand bank on the main pool. It is also a great place to photograph birds as the images below prove:

Sedge Warbler, Sand Martin and Wood Sandpiper (M.Sallis); Tawny Pipit (J.Swift); Kestrel (M.Halliday) and Stonechat (P.Freestone)
