Todays all day Pelagic on board the Scillonian III appears to have got off to a bad start with the boat having to dock at St Mary’s, IOS. A passenger on board fainted, banged their head and needed medical attention! Four Cory’s Shearwaters had been seen up to 0900hrs.
Other species seen were: Great Shearwater, Grey Phalarope, Great and Arctic Skua, Manx Shearwater, Sooty Shearwater andÂ Storm Petrel. A singleÂ Wilson’s Petrel was seen by a handful of birders. (Thanks S.Taylor)
