There are still some places left on the Seabird Pelagic on board the Scillonian III on Sunday 10th August this year. This trip is a great opportunity to see some of our rarer seabirds at close quarters and is your best bet for catching up with Wilson’s Petrel. This is the first Scillonian Pelagic to run since 2004 when Wilsons Petrel (6+), Cory’s, Sooty, Balearic and Manx Shearwater, Sabines Gull and Grey Phalarope were seen. Theres always a supporting cast of Storm Petrels, Skuas and more common seabirds and gulls aswell as the odd wader or small migrant. The trip is also an opportunity to see cetaceans with Dolphins, Porpoise and the occasional Whale sighted.
