Saturday 20th October – Scilly Bird Reports

Todays Birding Highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Mary’s – **BLACKPOLL WARBLER** (2) still on the Garrison and at Higher moors. RB Flycatchers at Carreg Dhu and Lower Moors. *PALLAS’S WARBLER* at Porth Hellick at seaward end between hide and beach (Cornwall Birding Team) .**GREY CHEEKED THRUSH** reported again this morning at lower Moors in field with white horse. Probable WILSON’S SNIPE again at Lower Moors from ISBG Hide. Plus YB Warbler (8+), Firecrest (5+), Siskin (good Numbers), Black Redstart (10+), Good numbers of Fieldfare.

Tresco – **BLYTH’S PIPIT** still at Old Grimsby in field by school and showing well. Spoonbill on Abbey Pool at 18.50hrs.

Bryher – **BLYTH’S REED WARBLER** still at Green Bay.

St Martin’s – Woodlark (2) flew over Churchtown Farm at 18.00hrs.
