Monday 22nd October 2007 – Scilly Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Mary’s **WILSON’S SNIPE** still from ISBG Hide on Lower Moors, **BLACKPOLL WARBLER** in 2nd clump of sallows at Higher Moors towards Porth Hellick pool and showing well. **GREY-CHEEKED THRUSH** reported seen from Harry’s Walls, tho very very elusive! PALLAS’S WARBLER (2) one at Old Town near church Yard and another at GC Thrush site. Hawfinch at Trenoweth (thanks R.Walsh)

St Agnes *RUSTIC BUNTING* at Covean, RC Starling still on Gugh Bar.

Tresco **BLYTH’S PIPIT** still in long grass in front of School. Plus Water Pipit still on Cricket Pitch. Spotted Crake on Great Pool and Spoonbill still.

Bryher **BLYTH’S REED WARBLER** still at Green Bay tho elusive.
