Friday 19th October 2007 – Scilly Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Mary’s BLACKPOLL WARBLER (2) still, GREY-CHEEKED THRUSH, RB Flycatcher (2), Richards Pipit over watermill flew towards Tolls Island and another by telegraph just west of Longstone track. RADDE’S WARBLER at Porth Helick Pool from seaward hide at 16.55hrs.

St AgnesRichards Pipit on Wingletang Down briefly early morning flew high SW. Grey Phalarope flew west past Horse Point at 13.43hrs.

TrescoBLYTH’S PIPIT still at Green Bay.

Bryher BLYTH’S REED WARBLER still at south end oif green bay. Woodlark (2) and Crossbill (5)at green bay.
