A ‘first’ for Marazion Marsh

Paul St Pierre and Dave Flumm had a male Ruddy Darter, Sympetrum sanguineum at Marazion Marsh RSPB @ 14:00 hrs today.  There may be a second male there. It is currently holding territory at the narrow footbridge at the public footpath opposite the standing stone/viewing area about 150m in from the road.

This is the first record of Ruddy Darter and the 23rd species of Odonata recorded at Marazion Marsh.
