A Wilson’s Petrel was off St Ives Island (ironically, see todays bird reports!) in 1995 and a Black Kite was at Porthgwarra in 1983. A Black and White Warbler at Church Cove on the Lizard in 1983 was only the second record and first ‘alive’ bird for the county.
