American Golden Plovers totalled three on this date with single birds at Sennen in 1985, Crows-an-wra  in 1971 and Stithians Reservoir in 1978. Elsewhere, seawatching from St Ives Island produced a Black-browed Albatross in 1982. Porthgwarra held 2 Red-eyed Vireos in 1985, one of which remained until 9th October.
