On This Day in History – 21st October

A good day for Yanks again on this date with Long-billed Dowitchers at Davidstow in 1984 and 1985, a Franklin’s Gull on the Hayle Estuary in 1994, Grey-cheeked Thrush at Bosigran Castle in 1986 and Swainson’s Thrush at St Just in 1979. Porthgwarra turned up the mega’s with Chimney Swift in 1982 and American Redstart in 1967.
