On This Day in History - 1st September
An American Wigeon was an early autumn surprise at Loe Pool in 1991 and remained until the 4th September as did the Semipalmated Sandpiper that turned up on the Camel Estuary on this day in 1989. Todays highlight though was a county first in the shape of a BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER at Penryn in 1982.
