A Boneparte’s Gull was at Swanpool, Falmouth in 1980 and a Desert Wheatear At Porthgwarra in 1984 was officially the first county record after a report of one at Marazion in 1950 was rejected. A Lesser Scaup at Drift Reservoir in 1996 was also a county first.
